
No Ghana Premier League game this weekend as MTN FA Cup semi-finals take centre stage
There will be no game played in the Ghana Premier League this weekend to allow room for the next round of games in the MTN FA Cup.This season’s MTN FA Cup has been very interesting and is set to get even better as it enters the semi-final round.The four remaining clubs in the competition are poised for victory in their semi-final games, knowing that victory will put them in a place for a medal.The clubs set to battle this weekend in the absence of the Ghana Premier League include Nsoatreman FC, Bofoakwa Tano, Legon Cities, and defending champions Dreams FC.Nsoatreman FC and Legon Cities will set the ball rolling when the two Premier League sides meet in the first semi-final on Saturday, May 11.Later on Sunday, Dreams FC battle Bofoakwa Tano in the other semi-final match.All two semi-final matches in the MTN FA Cup will be played at the WAFA park in Sogakope.
