Brentford head coach Thomas Frank says a mid-table finish for Brentford would be "amazing" after losing 1-0 to Aston Villa in the Premier League.

He hopes he and his teammates can continue competing, heading into Wednesday’s Champions League quarter-final second leg against Club Brugge. “I just try to do my best, to help the team,” Disasi continued. “I came here for that – to play and to enjoy – and I am very happy how it is going in Villa. “Everything is top, I have a lot of confidence, and I feel good, so I’m happy. “I think it’s still nine games to go, so we take it one game by one. “We know we have to be higher in the league, and it will help with this kind of performance. “We just have to stay focused. Now, we have another game on Wednesday, and I hope this kind of victory will build confidence in the team and we will keep going in this way.”
