In a letter addressed to Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) General Secretary Wilfred Kidao and copied to Simba SC, CAF said the decision follows detailed technical assessments conducted by its international pitch consultants.
The win saw Yanga extend their lead at the top of the league table to four points ahead of their arch-rivals Simba SC.
